Restoring wholeness in those who lead, love, and serve

Hello
I'm Chelsie, a mother, educational leader, and intern therapist. The Selah Collective was born from my lived experience of leading, parenting, and longing for a space to lay it all down.

I’m here to support those who hold others, offering trauma-informed therapy, culturally responsive coaching, and restorative learning spaces rooted in care and connection.
My Story
First and foremost, I am a mother. I’m also an educational leader, coach, and a therapist in training. My passion has always been rooted in service, showing up for others, especially our youth. And, as it often goes in service work, I began to uncover the ways I wasn’t showing up for myself. I was leaving behind younger parts of me that carried pain, fear, and shame. Pushing away pieces of my own humanity while being called to humanize those I served. That disconnection led not only to burnout, but to harm, toward myself and to others.

Service work has a way of exposing these deeply human contradictions. And when I finally slowed down, held by loving community and a skilled therapist, I began to notice parts of me longing to be seen. For the pain and isolation to be witnessed. For the grief to be understood. For connection to feel safe again.

What was most transformative for me most wasn’t insight alone. It was relationship.
Healing in community, across roles and identities, in spaces where stories could be held with compassion and care. Without that kind of collective care, both healing and learning fall flat.
This work is deeply personal. We all deserve a soft place to land. A space where we can serve others without losing ourselves. If your heart is in service, but you’ve forgotten to include yourself in the vision, I hope this space reminds you: Being in service must include you.
